GIS/CADD Technician- Kennesaw, Georgia 

Job Description Summary 

We are looking for an experienced GIS/CADD technician to add to our successful team. This GIS/CADD Technician will be led by Project Managers on a team consisting of multi-discipline design engineers focused on the production of design phase deliverables including reports, design manuals, plans and profiles, sections, details and specifications. The CADD technician must work well in a team environment, be proficient in AutoCAD/GIS and have strong communication skills. 

  • Proficient in AutoCAD to design 2D figures and diagrams to be used as deliverables in project reports. Common figures and diagrams include project location maps, cross-sections, proposed construction plans and soil profile fences. However, project-specific requests are to be expected

Skills and Qualification Requirements:

  • B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Geotechnical Engineering, MS preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in complex heavy civil projects, preferably in South Carolina
  • South Carolina Professional Engineer registration, or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • Leadership, written and oral communications, emotional intelligence, entrepreneurial spirit
  • Has the ability to develop meaningful relationships with clients and staff
  • Experience in overseeing the deployment and management of engineering teams, planning, scheduling projects, and advanced knowledge of how to drive operational excellence, standards, value and productivity of the business

Our markets are primarily the Civil Public Sector, Transportation, Aviation, Water, etc. Our core-competence services are provided to a wide array of clients, including FDOT, state agencies, municipalities, design consultants, and large general contractors in the Southeast Regin. Field Technicians  – Palm Beach, Florida

Must be certified and experienced (3+ years) with work on Florida projects. Successful candidates must have valid certifications. 

Field Technicians: Experienced with soils and concrete for field operations: MUST have a good driving record. MUST be certified with ACI in Soils and Concrete. 

Qualifications and Skills: 

  • 2 -10 years experience with work on Florida projects 
  • Experienced with soils, masonry, concrete and asphalt testing for field operations 
  • Certified with ACI, NDG, RTT, CTQP and NICET in Soil, Concrete and Asphalt 
  • Structural Steel Inspection experience is a plus 
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal & written communication
