Provided geotechnical investigations and recommendations for the foundation design and construction of two separate bridges at US 27 and Custer Road, Muscogee County, Columbus, Georgia. Two Bridge Foundation Investigations were performed for two span bridge and three span bridge for future roadway and bridge construction and improvements. The scope included Static Pile Bearing Capacity Analysis for multiple pile types, soil design parameter analysis and reporting, as well as the foundation investigation for multiple MSE walls to accompany bridge construction.
The project consisted of the design of two (2) new bridges over Euharlee Creek in Bartow County, Georgia, which is known to be prone to sinkhole development. We performed geotechnical investigations and foundation engineering recommendations for the deep foundation system for the project. We performed Geophysical study including Electrical Resistivity Survey at the site which confirmed that several Karst anomalies existed. We provided remediation plan consisting of grout injection. Our foundation recommendations included H-piles. Geophysical testing, minimum pile tip elevation based on compression/tension and pile installation criteria. We provided quality control inspection and testing for the entire duration of the project.
Provided Geotechnical Engineering Consulting Services and performed a Bridge Foundation Investigation (BFI) Study. The bridge consisted of six (6) spans, three are 140′ and three are 120′ long. The total length of the new bridge was 780′.
Provided geotechnical services for the existing Pavement Evaluation and Design and Soil Survey along the roadway along SR 120, Abbotts Bridge Road, City of Johns Creek, Fulton County Georgia. The scope included coring of pavement along the project alignment, evaluation of the existing asphalt condition and thickness based on the cores taken, the analyses of existing base and/or subbase materials and performing pavement design for full depth replacement and overlay designs per GDOT requirements.
Provided geotechnical services for the project which consisted of the following: Bridge Foundation Investigation, Wall Foundation Investigations, Soil Survey, and full Pavement Evaluation and Design. The project is located in Riverdale, Clayton County Georgia.
Provided geotechnical services for the existing Pavement Evaluation and Design at the SR 138 Jonesboro Road and I-85 intersection, Fulton County Georgia. The project included design of the mainline alignment as well as access ramps to and from the interstate. In addition, the project includes replacement of bridges/interchange on I-85.
Provided Geotechnical Engineering Recommendations for the roadway consisting of Pavement Evaluation, Soil Survey and Wall Foundation Recommendation along SR 40 east of St. Mary’s cutoff/MP 5.0/Charlton to CR 61 in Camden and Charlton Counties, GA. The total length of the roadway is approximately 11.67 miles. The project consists of approximately 10.2 miles of pavement overlay, 11.67 miles of new pavement ranging from 2 to 4 lanes, and five (5) culvert extensions. Approximately 2.2 miles of wetland area exists along the project alignment.
Provided Geotechnical Engineering Services for the roadway consisting of Pavement Evaluation, Soil Survey and Wall Foundation Recommendation along SR 40 from Conn/Folkston to MP 2.75/E of CR 82, Charlton Counties, GA. The total length of the roadway is approximately 1.9 miles. The project consists of approximately 1.9 miles of pavement overlay, about 1.75 miles of new pavement ranging from 2 to 3 lanes, and one (1) bridge culvert with retaining walls.
Provided evaluation of the existing pavement conditions to support the Concept Development/Validation of various roadway projects along SR 101, to evaluate the need for overlay, full depth or reconstruction.
Provided pavement evaluations and recommendation services on Interstate I-85, SR 53 & US 129/SR 11 in Jackson County, Georgia. The total length of the study is Eight (8) miles in each direction. The scope of services included providing pavement condition surveys and pavement design evaluations along with Geotechnical Engineering Recommendations along I-85 main line north and south bounds and for the ramps at the interchange of SR 53 and interchange at SR 11.
Provided geotechnical engineering services for the installation of permeable interlocking concrete pavers (PICP) on top of open graded aggregate. The objective of this study is to provide the information for the design of green infrastructure stormwater improvement solution to mitigate local flooding.
Provided geotechnical engineering services for the Sardis Rd Connector project in Gainesville GA. The project consisted of both a GDOT Soil Survey, and a Level II contamination screening at selected sites throughout the future roadway corridor. Our scope of services including soil survey and Level II Environmental Contamination Screening.
Provided Geotechnical Engineering Recommendations and pavement evaluations services on SR 155 Candler Road in DeKalb County. The total length of the project is 3.6 miles.
Provided Geotechnical Engineering Recommendations for the Widening of SR105 from the intersection of Cannon Bridge Rd, west of SR 365 to Walnut Street in Cornelia for a total of 2.74 miles. In the project is the reconstruction of the interchange at US441/SR 105 and SR 365 as a diamond interchange. The construction widens US441/ SR 105 to a six- lane divided roadway with a 20′ raised median from Cannon Bridge road to SR 365.
Provided Geotechnical Engineering Recommendations for the widening/reconstructing SR 20 from an existing two lane rural highway to a divided four-lane rural highway along SR 20 from SR 369 in Cherokee County to SR 371 in Forsyth County. The total length of the road is about 6.5 miles. Provided, Inc. performed pavement study and soil survey.
Provided Geotechnical Engineering Recommendations Consisted of asphalt and concrete pavement cores and soils borings for roadway improvements, including retaining walls and adding totem poles and shelter structures at for several bus stops along Fletcher and Nebraska Avenues in Tampa, Florida.
Provided subsurface investigations, testing and foundation recommendations and associated reports for the modification of two interchanges (I-75 and Fruitville RD and I-75 and University Parkway). The project included ramp modifications, drainage, overhead lighting and signalization. The work was performed for FDOT District 1.
Provided subsurface investigations, testing and foundation recommendations and associated reports for the replacement of the Jamson Road Bridge over the Alafia River in Southeastern Hillsborough County. The work was performed for Hillsborough County, Florida.

We further monitored pile driving inspections during the construction phase of the project. The work was performed for Hillsborough County.
