Pump Station 079, Pinellas County, Florida
Provided geotechnical engineering services for the proposed improvements associated with project identified as Pinellas County PS 079 Replacement.
MC Squared provides specialized geotechnical and materials testing services for water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Our expertise supports the development of reservoirs, treatment facilities, pump stations, and distribution systems, ensuring structural integrity and long-term performance under varying environmental conditions.
We prioritize cost-effective, sustainable solutions that enhance water quality, protect public health, and improve system reliability. Our team collaborates with municipalities, utilities, and engineering firms to optimize designs, mitigate risks, and support regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Through advanced testing methodologies and a deep understanding of subsurface conditions, we help deliver resilient infrastructure that efficiently manages water resources and withstands future demand.
Provided geotechnical engineering services for the proposed improvements associated with project identified as Pinellas County PS 079 Replacement.
Served as the owner’s representative onsite as well as providing construction materials testing and inspection services, such as concrete and soils testing, and offsite lab concrete compression testing. Also provided remediation solutions associated with the removal and replacement of a 24” groundwater runoff drain pipe on the northside of the reservoir dam.
MC Squared is supporting Wade Trim and Fulton County in upgrading the influent pump station at the Utoy Creek Water Reclamation Center. MC Squared provides geotechnical engineering services throughout the design and early construction phases. Our team conducted site investigations to evaluate subsurface conditions, including soil behavior and groundwater levels, which are vital for planning stable, long-lasting foundation systems. We also assist with stakeholder coordination and provide geotechnical insights to help guide demolition planning and phased construction activities.
Provided Geotechnical investigation, soil classification and recommendations for foundation design.
Provided subsurface investigations and associated foundation recommendations for a new Waste Water Treatment Plant at the Big Cypress Seminole Indian Reservation. In addition, we provided materials testing of soils and concrete on the construction phase of the project. Project components include WTP process building, stormdrain detention facility, clearwell and a concentrate/disposal storm percolation pond along with associated piping.
Provided subsurface investigations and associated recommendations for this project which was intended to improve the water quality of the effluent from the Combined Sewer Outfall (CSO) system of the Stockade sub-basin in southeast Atlanta. The plan included the design of approximately 52,000 LF of new sanitary sewer and 11,000 LF of new storm sewers including tunneling under I-20.
