Big Creek Treatment Plant, Fulton County, Georgia
Provided Geotechnical & Materials Consulting Engineering Services including recommendations for foundation design.
MC Squared provides specialized geotechnical and materials testing services for water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Our expertise supports the development of reservoirs, treatment facilities, pump stations, and distribution systems, ensuring structural integrity and long-term performance under varying environmental conditions.
We prioritize cost-effective, sustainable solutions that enhance water quality, protect public health, and improve system reliability. Our team collaborates with municipalities, utilities, and engineering firms to optimize designs, mitigate risks, and support regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Through advanced testing methodologies and a deep understanding of subsurface conditions, we help deliver resilient infrastructure that efficiently manages water resources and withstands future demand.
Provided Geotechnical & Materials Consulting Engineering Services including recommendations for foundation design.
MC Squared is supporting Wade Trim and Fulton County in upgrading the influent pump station at the Utoy Creek Water Reclamation Center. MC Squared provides geotechnical engineering services throughout the design and early construction phases. Our team conducted site investigations to evaluate subsurface conditions, including soil behavior and groundwater levels, which are vital for planning stable, long-lasting foundation systems. We also assist with stakeholder coordination and provide geotechnical insights to help guide demolition planning and phased construction activities.
Provided Geotechnical investigation, soil classification and recommendations for foundation design.
Provided Geotechnical Engineering Recommendations and construction materials testing and inspection for the 100 acres natural effluent treatment facility. The project consists of building an impoundment (earthen dam) to treat wastewater.
Provided subsurface investigations and associated recommendations for the expansion of this facility from 9 to 12 MGD. Components of the project included new headworks, clarifier, new pump station and reject storage tanks. Provided materials testing of soils, concrete and asphalt during construction phase. Construction costs $30 million.
Provided subsurface investigations and associated foundation recommendations for the expansion of the facility from 6 to 12 MGD. Components of the project included new reclaimed water storage tanks, UV electrical building, new deep bed filters, three new clarifiers, 2 new oxidation ditches, new pump station, two (2) new flow meter assemblies and 3000 LF of new 20 inch pipeline including Horizontal Directional Drilling under an existing creek. Monitored installation of over 3400 pre-stressed concrete piles.
