CR 817, Lee Road, and South Sweetwater Road Widening
MC Squared (MC²) is supporting Lowe Engineers on a roadway widening improvement project along CR 817, Lee Road, and South Sweetwater Road in Douglas County,
MC Squared offers practical and cost-effective geotechnical and foundation design recommendations backed by the extensive experience of our staff. Our team employs advanced data gathering techniques alongside practical engineering principles to deliver value-added services that support the design team in making projects successful. Our principals have worked on thousands of engineering projects across Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and the surrounding region, ensuring that their design recommendations lead to successful construction.
We have successfully completed a variety of projects, ranging from simple to complex, in the following areas:
MC Squared (MC²) is supporting Lowe Engineers on a roadway widening improvement project along CR 817, Lee Road, and South Sweetwater Road in Douglas County,
Provided geotechnical engineering services on this project for the Florida Department of Transportation, Turnpike District. The project involves the design of a new Interchange at Jog Road and Florida’s Turnpike in Palm Beach County, Florida. The work was performed for FDOT Turnpike District.
Provided Geotechnical Engineering Recommendations and construction materials testing and inspection for the 100 acres natural effluent treatment facility. The project consists of building an impoundment (earthen dam) to treat wastewater.
Provided comprehensive geotechnical engineering services for the Custer Avenue CSO Relief Storage Vault project which were performed in two Phases. We evaluated the soil conditions and groundwater levels at the site, and provided recommendations concerning site development and foundation design and construction recommendations for the proposed storage vault. The proposed vault is a new five (5) million gallon buried underground stormwater vault retention consisting of cast-in-place concrete with side walls, overflow weir and box culvert by-pass to storage vault. The foot print of the vault is 58,000 square feet, City of Atlanta, Georgia.
Provided geotechnical investigations and recommendations for a new 35,000 SF warehouse and associated support facilities including an outdoor storage area, parking areas and a stormwater retention pond.
Provided Geotechnical Engineering Recommendations for the roadway consisting of Pavement Evaluation, Soil Survey and Wall Foundation Recommendation along SR 40 east of St. Mary’s cutoff/MP 5.0/Charlton to CR 61 in Camden and Charlton Counties, GA. The total length of the roadway is approximately 11.67 miles. The project consists of approximately 10.2 miles of pavement overlay, 11.67 miles of new pavement ranging from 2 to 4 lanes, and five (5) culvert extensions. Approximately 2.2 miles of wetland area exists along the project alignment.
